125 Years Weihrauch

Our history

We are proud to be celebrating our 125-year family tradition in 2024. Hermann Weihrauch laid the cornerstone in Zella St. Blasii in 1899. He quickly established a name for himself with high-quality hunting rifles and was able to expand the company. Over the decades, the product range was expanded to include bicycle parts and door closers. After the new start in Mellrichstadt in 1948, bicycle parts were initially manufactured again. Air guns and small-bore repeaters were soon added to the range. Today, our products are in demand worldwide, and the quality standard “Made in Germany” is our top priority. To celebrate our 125th anniversary, we are offering three special models in limited quantities.

htjtjtjt — 1899 - 1939: Der Unternehmensgründer Hermann Weihrauch mit seinen 3 Söhnen Otto, Hermann und Werner. / The founder Hermann Weihrauch with his three sons Otto, Hermann and Werner.

1930 - 1990: Verpackung der Fahrradteile wie Zahnräder, Kurbeln, Achsen und Tretlager in den 50er Jahren. / Wrapping of the bicycle parts (cogwheels, cranks, axles, braquet ball bearings) in the 50 fifties.

1939: Prospekt anlässlich des 40-jährigen Bestehens der Firma im Jahre 1939. Hier wurde auch die erste Druckluftpistole vorgestellt. / Catalogue cover on the occasion of the 40. anniversary of the company in 1939.

1999: Anlässlich des 100-jährigen Jubiläums Empfang in der Oskar- Herbig-Halle in Mellrichstadt: Hans-Hermann Weihrauch und Stefan Weihrauch mit Mutter Christa Weihrauch. / Reception on the occasion of the 100 year jubilee in the Oskar-Herbig- Hall in Mellrichstadt.

2010: Das neue Verwaltungsgebäude der Firma, fertiggestellt im Jahre 2010. / The new office bulding of the company, completed in 2010.

2023: Einstieg der 5. Generation: Geschäftsleitung mit Thilo Schallenkammer, Felix Weihrauch und Hans-Hermann Weihrauch. / Getting in of the fifth generation into the family business.

2024: Wir feiern 125 Jahre Familientradition im Jahr 2024. / We celebrate 125 years of family tradition in 2024.
