Our history
We are proud to have celebrated our 125-year family tradition in 2024. Hermann Weihrauch laid the cornerstone in Zella St. Blasii in 1899. He quickly established a name for himself with high-quality hunting rifles and was able to expand the company. Over the decades, the product range was expanded to include bicycle parts and door closers. After the new start in Mellrichstadt in 1948, bicycle parts were initially manufactured again. Air guns and small-bore repeaters were soon added to the range. Today, our products are in demand worldwide, and the quality standard “Made in Germany” is our top priority.

Our precision air guns and bolt-action rifles are engineered and manufactured in accordance with the latest sporting arms technology. Perfection and innovation are the aims we live up to. We give priority to ensuring constant development and modification of our products so that they continue to meet the varied demands and requirements of the market. We use tried and tested special materials for producing not only the barrels but also nu- merous other components. The precision, dimensional accuracy and correct temper of the various parts are constantly and carefully monitored by ex- perienced experts. The use of highly modern production machinery helps to ensure that these demands are complied with at all times. It is this produc- tion technology, combined with decades of experience, that forms the expertise with which our hobby, sporting and hunting guns are manufactured, in top quality, for maximum performance and a long service life.
Sustainability
A sustainable economy has always been one of Weihrauch’s strategic business goals. This is evident, for example, in the creation of particularly stable, durable and high-quality goods. The further development of our products as well as the future product development are our particular focus. Furthermore, we still provide servicing and spare parts for air weapons that were shipped years or even decades before.
