Such modifications also impair the durability and reliability of our products, which is why we advise against them.

Clean your air gun regularly. You should always take care for and maintain the air gun properly. Only in this way your air gun can perform and give you the desired success. If you have any questions or doubts please contact somebody qualified like e. g. your gun dealer / gunsmith or directly us. After use and before longer storage all metal parts should be lubricated with a special gun oil to prevent rust and to keep your air gun in good condition. The barrel hinges should be slightly oiled at regular intervals. The lubrication of your system (piston, piston seal, main spring) was already applied during assembly. With normal use it has to be renewed when the piston seal or the main spring have to be exchanged. A fouled barrel affects accuracy and performance. The barrel’s bore should be cleaned by means of a felt wad or cleaning rod with cords. We can recommend also e. g. felt rifle cleaners. Use only slightly oiled and fluff-free cleaning equipment. There are special cleaning equipments for air guns available at your local gun shop. Do not use wire brushes or steel-tipped cleaning rods. These could seriously damage the rifling. Pull the cords only from the chamber to the muzzle through the barrel. Be careful not to overlubricate. Please use only resin and acid free oils.

If you have a complaint, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product. They will be the first to help you.

Whether old or new, the cause of rust usually depends on how the product is stored and how the blued surface is cared for. For this reason, always store your gun in dry rooms and oil it regularly, even if the gun is/was not in use. In particular, make sure that the surfaces are oiled even after use, as fingerprints on the bluing can cause rusting.

At the first glance a lot of rooms seem to contain dry air although this is not the case. Please also refer to the information in the previous question.

Questions on ammunition

Every gun has its own characteristics. To achieve the best results, you should try out different types of pellets from different manufacturers. We particularly recommend the use of good quality diabolos such as those from H&N, JSB or RWS.

It is essential that ammunition has to be selected individually for each rifle/gun. Each gun has its own characteristics. Our recommendation: Test the shooting performance with different good quality diabolo pellets. This applies in particular to newly purchased products. Your local dealer is usually the right contact for advice on ammunition. Important note: Only use “diabolo pellets” and not steel darts, bolts, balls or similar projectiles.
